Justin Bieber concert tickets went on sale in India and Twitter simply lost it

We told you that Justin Bieber is performing in India for the first time.

Understandably, there’s a lot of excitement, especially in millennials who can’t have enough of the 23-year-old pop sensation.

But now there’s a problem as we discovered once the tickets went on sale.

Firstly, there’s a queue. Even if you wait, you are never sure that you’re going to get a ticket. What if they are exhausted by 2,000 or even 3,900?

And secondly, the ticket prices are ridiculously high. Much like the Coldplay tickets.

The highest-priced one costs Rs. 76,790 ($1,149). And that is a lot.

Okay, agreed that only the VIP and VVIP seats are commanding a premium. But that doesn’t stop Indians from taking potshots at Bieber or his brand of music.

Oh, there’s also that kidney joke… usually made when iPhones go on sale. But Bieber has earned it this time.

Rs. 76,000 for Justin Bieber tickets.
The show is in Navi Mumbai.
In that area, for that amount you could buy a bungalow on the stage!
