Taylor Swift has finally returned to social media but not for the reason you think. The singer has stepped back into the spotlight to talk sports, and the internet is really confused.
A curly-headed Swift somehow made her way into the video congratulating MVP Russell Westbrookof the Oklahoma City Thunder. Her cheeky video is pretty hilarious, but the whole thing seemed to come out of left field (sports reference, go sports!).
Swift jokes she taught him how to dribble and he told her to shake it off the first time he beat her in basketball. The funniest part? The two have never actually met in person. Well played, Tay.

Even though Swift and Westbrook have never met, they aren’t as disconnected as people think. Westbrook hasn’t commented about the video on his social media, but he’s been pretty busy. Yeah, yeah, that whole basketball thing, but he also has an adorbs one-month-old at home. Needless to say, Westbrook is winning 2017.
What made this appearance by Swift all the more random is she’s been out of the public eye for about a year. The singer has kept an insanely low profile since her breakup with Calvin Harris and quickie relationship with Tom Hiddlestonlast year.

What we thought were Selly’s new short locks were NOT on display, making us wonder if that was all a trick. Or maybe she’s already putting some extensions in??? Guess we’ll have to wait and see!
Also at the event were Alicia Keys, Shay Mitchell, and Laverne Cox, all looking svelte in slacks. We’re not crazy about Alicia’s mismatched style choices here — the zebra print, graphic tee, and electric blue heels just don’t work together.

She has 1.4 million subscribers who love following her on the journey.
This girl is so adorable and her makeup tutorials are fire. She also does great lifestyle vlogs where she talks about her marriage and life. With 2.2 million subscribers, she has a big slice of the beauty pie.
It’s hard to beat the energy Laura Lee has on camera. Her bubbly personality makes her tutorials so fun to watch.
She was actually one of the beauty vloggers invited to the KKW launch party. Lee has 3.1 million subscribers on YouTube, so she’s an awesome connection to have in the beauty world. This chick is so hilarious, I die every time I watch one of her videos. Besides comic relief, she is a very talented hair and makeup artist who makes awesome videos. What I like about her channel is she tries a lot of different trends and is genuinely in love with makeup. She also has 7 million followers who are obsessed with her, too.

Selena Gomez may have gone country without telling us, and fans want answers.
According to Nash Country Daily, in April, country music star Thomas Rhett mentioned Selena Gomez as one of the collaborators on his upcoming album.

That’s not small news. While we know Gomez’s BFF Taylor Swift has strong country music roots and has continued to collaborate with country music artists since going full pop the Bad Liar singer has given us no indication that she dabbles in the sounds of Nashville.
That doesn’t mean Selenators aren’t super interested in hearing a country music duet, though!
Thomas Rhett, who is famous for singles like Die a Happy Man and Star of the Show off his 2015 album, , reminded us all of the collaboration this week, but warned we might not actually get to hear it.

In an interview with Rare Country, which has since been removed from the site but was picked up by Country Fancast, Rhett revealed,
Anytime the country world melts into the pop world, it’s an interesting conversation. A lot of things need to go correct for it to work out. But yes, Selena did sing a song of mine. It’s still sort of up in the air if it’s going to actually make the record.
Ummm, why wouldn’t Selena make the cut, Thomas?
His decision to include the track on his album, which is due out in September, doesn’t seem to have anything to do with his respect for Gomez as a person and artist.
He continued,
I’ve actually never met Selena in person. I’ve only been able to talk to her over the phone but I was blown away just how super nice and respectful [she was,] because I was terrified to talk to her, especially about the song. Like, I was scared to say, Maybe if you try this’ to the biggest superstar that literally exists in this world and I’m just me? (Laughs.) But yeah, she was so sweet and I can’t wait to meet her someday.
(By the way, TheWeeknd doesn’t need to get jealous. The 27-year-old countrysinger has been married since 2012 to someone he met in first grade!)
It feels wrong that there is a song just sitting out there with Selena Gomez’s vocals on it and we don’t even know if it’s getting released. Gomez has yet to comment on the track, but that isn’t stopping her fans’ curiosity.

Jameel’s family is worth about $1.5 billion, according to , which means if he and Rihanna are the real deal, they could knock Beyonc and JAY-Z out of the number one slot for highest-grossing celebrity couple. (Bey and JAY are worth about $1 billion.)
A source close to Rihanna told the Daily Mail she’s completely head over heals for Jameel. They said,

Kim Kardashian makeup tutorials are now a thing we have lots more of thanks to the launch of KKW Beauty. In this new video, Kim K herself does her makeup using only her crme contour kits, and it only takes her five minutes.
Yup, Kim Kardashian just did in five minutes, what you’ve been trying and failing to master for five years.
This proves a couple of things:
1. Just how simple contouring in general can be.
2. How easy contouring is with the KKW Beauty contour kits.
I waited online for an hour trying to get the light kit the day they went on sale (June 21), but they sold out before I could get my hands on one.
If you got one, we are not on speaking terms.
Anyway, in the video, the 36-year-old shows us how she does her makeup when she’s doing it on her own and doesn’t care to go full glam.

She says, I feel like sometimes, when youonly have five minutes and I just want to look a little more sculpted and bronze, this is what I do.

She uses the matte highlight from the medium kit as a concealer. She noted in the beginning of the video that she wasn’t wearing any concealer or foundation and wasn’t planning on putting any on in the video, so it’s interesting to see how her highlight can be used in lieu of an actual concealer and speaks to the versatility of the kits.
She said, If I literally was stranded and I only had this product, this is, like, exactly what I would do. She then uses the lighter contour from themedium kit to contour her nose.

She says,
I love to go along my hairline ’cause I just really like to look super bronze, and I love, like, a short forehead. I know it sounds weird, but it will totally shorten your forehead. My theory with contour is I always go kind of in, like, a three.
She then uses the brushes the kits provide to blend everything together, first using the kabuki brush end, then using the sponge end (she wets the sponge a little first).
Then she uses the extra product from the kabuki brush to add a tad more color to the highlighted parts so it doesn’t look too white. She demonstrates using the darker contour side as a shadow on her eyes.
The last thing she does is apply the shimmer highlight to her nose, cheekbones, cupid’s bow, brow lines, collar bone, and a little down her shoulders.
And that’s literally all she does. That’s it. She’s done. It took less than five minutes, and she did all of it with one makeup kit and moisturizer.
I AM A FAILURE.
