Rihanna and her fans, or her Navy as she likes to call them, have always been tight. Rihanna is renowned for holding free meet and greets, tweeting her fans and even responding to fans when they DM her.
The pop star has taken it to a whole new level now, though, after it’s been revealed she has been helping a gay fan come to terms with his sexuality.
The fan, who wishes to remain anonymous, shared the conversation with Buzzfeed:
But that wasn’t the end of their communication, Riri tuned in for regular updates and shows genuine interest in her fan’s life and story.
He spilled the beansto RiRi a month ago because hefelt like they didn’t have anyone else they could turn to who would understand, but the pop star has encouraged him wholeheartedly, and checked it to hear about him telling his friends.
The fan hopes to be completely out of the closet by July, when he’ll be meeting RiRi for the first time duringher Anti world tour.
