The Weeknd & Selena Gomez Both Got VMAs Nominations, Prove They’re A Power Couple

Every year, the world is gifted with a new power couple. For example, Rachel and Ross, Britney and Justin, Corey and Topanga, you get the picture. This time around, The Weeknd and Selena Gomez’s VMAs nominationshelp prove they’re the power couple we all want to be.

The stupid-good-looking duo first met when they performed at the 2015 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, and now they will be rocking the 2017 VMAs.

The Weeknd earned a whopping five nominations for Video of The Year, Artist of The Year, Best Direction, Best Art Direction and Best Editing, respectively. Gomez picked up two nominations herself, one in Best Dance and the other in Best Collaboration for her work with Charlie Puth for their song, We Don’t Talk Anymore.

You can see the full list of nominees and categories below, and catch the VMAs August 27 on MTV.
