Taylor Swift endures betrayal from a vital member of her squad

Taylor Swift’s fun girls’ night in with Martha Hunt came with a side of feline betrayal.

In Swift’s Instagram story on Wednesday, her cat Meredith revealed the unthinkable, at least for a member of the squad: Taylor Swift might not be her favorite person.

In the clips, Meredith, who is famous for her cold demeanor, is seen cuddling happily with Hunt, probably telling her the secrets about Hiddleswift only Meredith could know.

Tell us, Meredith. Tell us, too.

In a brutal twist, Meredith even consents to taking selfies with Hunt something she “never” does with Swift.

So why does Meredith prefer Hunt to the person who gives her food and treats? Perhaps it’s because Hunt is enthralled by Meredith’s quirks, like drinking straight from the faucet.

“This is the weirdest cat ever. She drinks from the faucet,” says Hunt.

Olivia Benson, Swift’s other cat, is noticeably absent from the videos. Perhaps she is walking the runway with Gigi Hadid, or learning to code with Karlie Kloss.

Tread lightly, cats. Remember who the real squad leader is.
