Taylor Swift has officially been spotted with her new boyfriend and, thankfully, there are photos!
Just a few weeks ago,news broke that the pop singer is dating British actor Joe Alwyn and, unlike her very public whirlwind relationship with Tom Hiddleston, theres been very little documentation of the duo in the media so far.
Over the weekend, though, the internet was gifted with a not-so-official glimpse of the couple.
The singer wasphotographed with her new man in her hometown of Nashville, Tennessee, and I must say they looklike quite a cute pair sipping coffee on a balcony.
Swift, in a casual pink dress, and Alwyn, in jeans and a t-shirt, look supercomfortable with each other. At one point, Swift appears to be pointing out something to Alwyn (did she spot the paparazzi perhaps?).
A source confirmed to E! News the couple are, in fact, official. Another source said,
This isnt a new couple alert or a secret relationship. The only people this has been a secret to is the media because all of us Taylor and Joes closest friends and their families were aware they have been together for several months and have known each other for a long time.
Theyve apparently been dating for several months but have wanted to keep everything insanely private.
According to sources, members of Swifts squad, including Selena Gomez and Gigi Hadid, have met her new boyfriend.
Alwyn, 26, is known for his roles inand and has an upcoming moviewith Emma Stone,which comes out in 2018.
Meanwhile, Swift has flown very much under the radar this past year.
She reportedly rented a house in Alwyns hometown of London and went as far as wearingdisguises to keep the relationship a secret over the past few months.
Its tough to blame either of them for wanting to stay far away from the media frenzy. A source told People,
Joes a very normal, down-to-earth guy. Hes private and low-key.
Swift, at least when shes on tour or promoting new music (which, by the way, fans are desperate for right about now),tends to lead a not-so-low-key lifestyle.
Perhaps, though, this new relationship is a turning point for the star.
