She recently shared an Instagram story showing off the matching tattoos she got with cast members Alisha Boe and Tommy Dorfman, and the powerful reason for what they chose.
The group opted to permanently display the project’s message with a black semi colon, which has become a symbol for mental health awareness and suicide prevention.
Project Semicolon“is a movement dedicated to presenting hope for those suffering from depression, thoughts of suicide, addiction, and self-injury.”

Sadly, the founder of Project Semicolon, Amy Bleuel, died justa couple weeks ago from a reported suicide, which helps to drive home the point about how important it is to speak out about issues like this.
